Job Description:

Soul Resources is urgently seeking to recruit for a HSE Engineer based OFFSHORE Kazakhstan on a rotational contract as follows:

Purpose
To supervise project execution site to ensure that all the prescribed safety procedures and equipment are fully adopted, both by Company staff and contractors.


Responsibilities:
Identifying, assessing and managing the P&F project safety risks in the Experimental Program offshore
Attends all site planning, progress and other appropriate site meetings, particularly those where subcontractors are involved.
Carry out safety inspections and ensure contractor control of safety equipment functionality.
Review the contractor Safety performance by inspection and by acquiring data in order to provide means to improve overall HSE standards.
Ensure strict compliance with the development project safety requirements.
Ensure the adequate training of personnel operating on site.
Investigate all safety incidents and accidents and issue prompt report.
Ensure emergency preparedness, for whole Piles & Flares spread of activities
Attend HSE meetings and proceed as instructed.
Managing of the Piles & Flares safety interfaces between client and Contractor teams
Applying all above-stated responsibilities to the Piles & Flares operations of EP Offshore
Analysing the possible HSE issues that may arise during or as a result of Piles & Flares operations performed within EP
Evaluation different scenarios of response measures in case of any critical situations during the drilling operations
Ensuring that all equipment used for Piles & Flares operations fully complies with HSE international standards, company requirements and local rules and regulations
Evaluate the impact that Piles & Flares operations may have on the local environments and providing solutions
Assessing possibilities of emergencies resulted by Piles & Flares operations, such as oil spills, fires, etc, and providing the response measures plans
Advising management on best industrial HSE practice in order to avoid any critical HSE situations during the Piles & Flares operations
Qualification/Experience
Relevant Degree or Technical Diploma
Recognized safety qualification and professional qualification
Extensive oil & gas industry experience (onshore and offshore)
Experience both in a safety role and in a safety management role.
