General Summary:

• Minimum 5 years working experience in similar position and having work experience on Offshore Rig,
• Computer and English literate,
• Holding valid Well Control (IWCF) and related Migas Certification (APB, JB, OMB or OLB certificates) for Tool Pusher, Driller, Assistant Driller & Derrickman,
• Holding Barge Master / OIM license for Barge Master,
• Holding valid HLO certificate for Rig Safety Officer,
• Holding valid BOSIET or HUET & Sea Survival certificate for all positions.

Job Description:
Brunel Energy (a division of Brunel International NV Netherlands) provides specialists, engineers and other professionals for offshore and onshore engineering, construction, operations and other logistic support activities. Our Client is one of the largest drilling contractors in the Middle East, services include quality drilling, work over and well maintenance services.

Job Role:
Supervises and participates the installation, repair and maintenance of all electrical equipment and related electrical elements of mechanical equipment located on assigned rig, covering AC distribution, power and lighting systems, DC electric drive systems, control boards, switch-gear assembly, SCR equipment, drilling instrument and control.
Implements and follows-up on preventive maintenance program and effect breakdown repairs as required.

Job Requirement:
B. Sc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
8 years experience in maintenance and repairs of engines and industrial electrical equipment (high voltage) AC/DC on onshore or offshore rigs including 3 years as Rig Electrician
Computer literate, robust health and below 45 years of age
Good knowledge of written and spoken English
