Description of Assistant Manager - HSE Design

Responsibilities -
- The HSE Manager will be responsible for implementing the specific processes, programmes and performance delivery that allows the project to achieve compliance with Indian HSE regulations
- The HSE Manager will work in collaboration with the Project
- Provide HSE input to all project stages and to coordinate with project, operations and corporate HSE to ensure company HSE standards and practices are observed and adhered to during project stages
- Advise Project management on company HSE requirement and update the project HSE plan
- Support project management in implementing the Project HSE management systems
- Develop and manage the project HSE audit program
- Ensure relevant HSE input is made into all change proposals
- Coordinate HSE training for project personnel and contractors as appropriate. Monitor contractor training programmes to ensure delivery of competent and safe work force
Skills required for Assistant Manager - HSE Design Skills Required -
- The ideal candidate should be B.Sc (Chemical Engineer) with 7 to 10 years of Experience in senior HSE role with projects/operations experience
- The candidate must have experience HSE and compliance aspects of project management (design, fabrication, construction and commissioning)

Remarks This position is a contractual for 2 years.
